HIAS+JCORE is delighted to have today (01.05.2025) joined the new Together With Refugees steering group. Our Executive Director, Rabbi David Mason, will sit alongside 19 other coalition members, with the steering group bringing together a rich mix of lived and learned experience.
Members will drive Together With Refugees’ campaign strategy and help shape the coalition’s next steps. Other organisations represented include the Refugee Council, One Strong Voice, JCWI and Choose Love. Click here to read the full list of representatives.
Partnership work is at the heart of HIAS+JCORE’s work and is a core value that drives our mission. We are excited about this opportunity to build on the strong relationships we’ve already established with sector organisations, and to ensure that the Jewish values-led case is heard in our joint call for a more compassionate and welcoming asylum policy.
With the new Border Security, Immigration and Asylum Bill moving through Parliament, this is a crucial time for advocacy and advancing our shared call for a fair new plan for refugees. We are deeply grateful to Together With Refugees for involving us and looking forward to getting started.
